At the camp kids will have riding lessons in arena, enjoy trail riding in Elfin Forest, feed the exotic petting zoo animals, learn basic horse/pony care, swim in the pool and much more - a lot of different activities each day.
We make it as convenient for the families as possible – you are welcome to book individual days, it can be a Half day (from 9am – 12pm) or a Full day (from 9am – 3pm).
Please see our camp page for weekly prices (if you book the whole week), a min of 6 children is required. Call 760-822-4778 if you have any questions!
We did a lot of bareback riding this week at our summer camp. The students wanted to do it. It helps to perfect the balance, which one of the most important riding skills. It also helps to develop a better way of communicating with the horses.
Group lessons are fun. The older rides tack the horses they ride and get them ready for lessons. We frequently have students ride together on the week-end and sometimes during the week. Below is our lesson in arena today with Elise, Kat and Alisa.
