MEGA ARTE RIDING ACADEMY'S CAMPING FUN FOR YOUR KID!

Full and Half Day Camps Available at our centrally located (between Carlsbad and San Marcos) Elfin Forest, Riding Community Location.

Chidren of all ages will gain the experience of a lifetime learning the art of Natural Horsemanship, Dressage, Jumping, and Cross Country trail riding, as well as a daily art project, and for those in our full day camp, Swimming lessons are included, in our full size pool. Our hobby Farm program offered in each camp day, offers children a unique opportunity to interact and bond with all our tame farm animals, from riding the llama "Earl", to holding and taming baby bunnies, ducks and chicks, kids will learn first hand how to care for, respect, and love our animal kingdom!

We have the best private riding camp in San Diego! Our students learn how to ride with a one-on-one student/teacher ratio with the best certified instructors. Daily activities include riding lesson, trail riding, feeding, grooming, tacking up, farm animal care, and horse-related art projects. Camps are limited to only 6 campers, so as to accommodate each child's individual needs. Our instructors are well-qualified and have first aid and CPR training and certification.

Current pricing for Day Camps at Mega Arte:
  • Half Day Camps from 9 to noon: Include 1 hr riding lesson, or trail ride, 1 hour of grooming and hobby farm care and 1 hour art project: Weekly Rate is $475
  • Full Day Camps from 9 to 4pm: Include 1 hr riding lesson, or trail ride, 1 hour of grooming and hobby farm care, and 1 hour art project, 1 hour lunch break and Spanish and French lesson (we learn a different language and converse in that language for the lunch hour), 1 hour swimming lesson, 1 hour free time/kid's play and 1 hour, we go on a nature hike or make lemonade or do a cart ride: Weekly rate is $675.

Deposit is non refundable, but is transferrable, and can be applied to other services at Mega Arte; ie. lessons, trail rides or parties. Services must be redeamed within 60 days..

6 lesson packages: ($20 savings off regular rate)

  • 20 min junior lessons: $250
  • 30 min private lessons: $370
  • 45 min private lessons $400


Lesson packages are non refundable, but can be transferrable and can be applied to other services at Mega Arte and must be completed within 6 weeks of start date. 24 hour notice required to cancel lesson, due to illness or rain-outs, and make up lesson required. A four week written notice is required to change or cancel your lesson contract with Mega Arte Riding Academy.

• Stretch pants or jeans required. Camper can bring shorts to change into.
• Must wear boots with a low heel.
• Camper provides sack lunch.
• Please make sure your child is adequately protected with sunscreen.
• Prompt pick-up of students is greatly appreciated. Excessive tardiness may be charged at an additional cost.
