Lessons OFFICIAL NEWS OF OUR SUCESSFUL
PETITION TO U.S.E.F and U.S.D.F.
LEADLINE DIVISION ADDED TO RATED SHOWS Meg Brown lead trainer has patented and gained acceptance in 2007, by United States Equestrian Federation, and United States Dressage Federation, the governing board of all equestrian sports, of an official leadline division of classes for ages three to eight, where children can now show intro level tests A and B at rated dressage show throughout the United States. This will have a very positive outcome for competitive dressage at large and for the past five years Meg has been organizing to create this new and exiting division! To date our primary sponsers of this successful division are Cintos Equestrian Management, who have joined forces with Meg Brown and added these classes to their show premiums at their San Marcos Legacy Farms location as well as their Palm Springs location, thanks to Meg Brown and her pioneer team of children, the first in the world of dressage to officially upgrade the leadline classes at the rated shows to include the full intro tests into their premiums. Call or e-mail us for our next show date to see this exiting and new division and perhaps your child as young as three can join the first ever in the U.S.A, team of children to ride, and compete, as young as three officially at rated dressage shows. We can make your or your child's dream a reality, it's never too early or too late to begin! We specialize in certified English dressage for ages 2 to adult, as well as vaulting and jumping for ages 11 to adult. We offer beginner to advanced riding programs. You and your child will learn to ride on well-trained and disciplined show-quality horses and ponies. We strive to make learning an enjoyable and challenging experience. For ages 2 to 5, we have a special program emphasizing balance and coordination using Shetland ponies and miniature horses. For ages 5 to 10, we have a great challenging program which encourages the child to take full control of their pony and begin to learn basic dressage movements as well as walk, trot, and canter on and off the lunge line. Learn the language of the horse through natural horsemanship skills that you'll develop in every lesson. You will gain a tremendous respect and love for your equine partner, at the same time developing balance, strength and coordination. Lessons are tailored to each rider's individual needs. Children's lessons include 15 minutes of trail riding on our nature bridal path located just outside the ranch gates. Our environment is relaxing and natural and puts students at ease, allowing full focus on mastering the intricate movements of dressage. Also, the challenge and excitement of jumping will give you confidence, and the wonderful partnership of simply being on the horse will put a smile on you or your child's face. Schooling shows with qualified judges will be held 4 times a year at our facilities. All students, ages 2 through adult, are welcome and encouraged to participate in lead-line to advanced dressage. We also compete at rated national shows in Dressage and Hunter/Jumper. Each year, we participate in the Del Mar Nationals with a select number of adult and teen riders that are up for the challenge. Boarding is available for the horses/ponies of clients who are in full-training programs that consists of 3 training/riding lessons per week. We have a beautiful grass pasture for turnout and spacious corrals with shaded areas.
